Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the use of the website tourscaminoalsol.com and the services offered by Camino al Sol, based in Teotihuacan, State of Mexico. By booking any of our tours, you accept these terms in full.

• Reservations are made through our website and are confirmed once full payment is received.
• It is the customer's responsibility to provide correct contact information (name, email, phone).
• Prices shown on the site are in Mexican pesos (MXN) and include taxes.
• Prices may change without prior notice.

The following conditions apply to land tours. Hot air balloon flights are governed by the conditions in section 4, which allow no cancellations or refunds.

• Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance: 100% refund.
• Cancellation between 24 and 48 hours: 50% refund.
• Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, or no show: no refund.
• Cancellations must be requested by email at caminoalsolteotihuacan@gmail.com or by WhatsApp.

Booking and payment

• A deposit or full payment is required to confirm your place.
• If you pay a deposit, the balance is due 48 hours before the tour, or otherwise on arrival at the balloon port.
• Places are subject to availability.

Changes and cancellations

• There are no cancellations or refunds once the reservation is confirmed.
• Date changes are allowed 48 hours in advance, subject to availability.
• In case of a no show, no refund or rescheduling applies.

Flight schedules

• Check-in, boarding and flight times are approximate and may vary due to weather, operational conditions, air safety or the logistics of the day.
• To keep the operation safe and efficient, passengers may be assigned to any of the flight times available on the reserved date.
• During high season, weekends, holidays or special events, the company may assign some passengers to the second available flight time, even if they requested the first one.
• The final time assignment is confirmed by the operator and is subject to operational availability.
• Schedule changes made for operational or safety reasons are not grounds for a refund.

Flight conditions

• Flights depend on weather conditions and take place only if the pilot considers it safe.
• If Camino al Sol cancels due to weather or safety, you may reschedule your flight or continue the tour with a 50% refund of the total price.

Important requirements

• Minimum age: 4 years. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Passengers over 100 kg incur an additional charge of $40 MXN per extra kilo, according to the operator policies.
• Pregnant women, people with recent surgery, severe heart conditions, spinal injuries, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs cannot fly.

Liability

• Any service not specified as included is considered not included.
• Camino al Sol is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen personal belongings.
• We reserve the right of admission for the safety of the group.

Use of photos and video

• By taking part in the experience, the customer authorizes Camino al Sol Tours and/or its representatives to capture photo and video material during the activity.
• The customer consents to that material being used for promotional, advertising and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, digital and print advertising, and promotional and commercial material of the company.
• The use of those images and videos does not generate any payment to the participant.
• If a customer does not wish to appear in promotional photos or videos, they must give written notice before the activity starts so that reasonable measures can be taken.
• The company undertakes to use the material respectfully and solely in connection with the promotion of its services and tourism experiences.

• We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
• Wear comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for outdoor activities.
• Camino al Sol is not responsible for injuries caused by the participant's negligence or failure to follow the guide instructions.

• The transportation service included in certain packages covers pickup and drop-off at hotels within the Teotihuacan area and surroundings.
• Additional services (visit to the Basilica, breakfasts, etc.) are subject to availability.

• The customer is responsible for their personal belongings during the tour.
• The customer must report any relevant medical condition before the tour.
• Consuming alcohol or prohibited substances before or during the tour is strictly forbidden and may result in cancellation of the service without a refund.

All the content of the website (text, images, logos, designs) belongs to Camino al Sol and is protected by the intellectual property laws of Mexico. Reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.

Camino al Sol reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when they are published on this page.
