1. Introduction

At Camino al Sol we respect your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use our website tourscaminoalsol.com and our tour services in Teotihuacan.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information when you make a reservation:

  • Full name: to identify you on the reservation.
  • Email address: to send confirmations and messages related to your reservation.
  • Phone number: to reach you if needed before or during the tour.
  • Reservation details: date, time, number of people and selected services.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information only to:

  • Process and manage your reservation.
  • Send you confirmations and reminders by email.
  • Contact you by phone or WhatsApp if your tour changes.
  • Improve our services and user experience.
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations applicable in Mexico.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Payment processing

Payments are processed through an external payment platform. We do not store credit card data or sensitive financial information on our servers. That platform handles the information under its own privacy and security policies.

5. Storage and security

  • Your information is stored on secure servers in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • We apply technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration.
  • We keep your reservation information for a maximum of 2 years for operational and legal purposes.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our site uses two kinds of cookies:

  • Essential: required for the site to work (authentication, session, consent preference). Always on.
  • Analytics: they help us understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, session length, device). Processed by our analytics platform on servers in the United States. They do not include data that identifies you personally, such as your name or email address.

You can turn off analytics cookies at any time from the cookie banner shown on your first visit (the "Settings" option), or by clearing them from your browser settings. We do not use advertising tracking cookies and we do not share data with ad networks.

6.1 Our service providers

We share minimal information with providers that help us run the site and fulfill your reservation:

  • Payment processor (servers in the United States): involved only when you make a reservation. Your card or account data never passes through our servers.
  • Hosting provider (servers in the United States): stores the site and your reservation data (name, email, phone, tour date).
  • Transactional email service: receives your email address solely to send you the confirmation and reminders for your reservation. We do not use it for newsletters or marketing.
  • Analytics platform (servers in the United States): receives aggregated browsing events (pages visited, device). It does not include personally identifiable data and you can turn it off from the cookie banner.

None of these providers is allowed to use your data for their own purposes. If we change provider in any category, we will update this policy with the new server location.

7. Your rights

Under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify incorrect or incomplete data.
  • Cancel (delete) your personal data.
  • Object to the processing of your data for specific purposes.

To exercise these ARCO rights, send an email to caminoalsolteotihuacan@gmail.com with your request and an official ID.

8. Minors

Reservations must be made by people over 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors without the consent of their parents or guardians.
